Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death; I will fear no evil; For you are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

. Mathew 17:20-21

So Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief, for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there, and it will move, and nothing will impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.

Lead me on

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but the world through Him mighty be saved.

Respect your Husband

THE APOSTLE PETER calls special attention to the title Sarah used in addressing her husband, “my Lord” (Genesis: 18:12; see 1Peter 3:6). She used this little as a way to show Abraham her respect. In a similar way, the apostle Paul writes “Let the wife see that she respects her husband” (Eph. 5:33).

When you respect your husband, you reverence him, notice him, regard him, honor him, prefer him, and esteem him. It means you value his opinion, admire his wisdom and character, appreciate his commitment to you, and consider his needs and values.
  • Expressing confidence in him as a man
  • listening to him
  • Being a friend and enjoying companionship
  • Letting him know that he’s needed

These are just a few of the many ways a wife can show that she respects her husband. Even husband wants his wife to be on his team and coach him when necessary but most of all, to be his cheerleader. A husband needs a wife who is behind him, believing in him, appreciating him, and cheering him on.

Psalms 23:1-6

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Seek Forgiveness…Even If You Don’t Feel Like It

Forgiveness is a necessary part of life, for simple reason that “we all stumble in many things” for without the cleansing power of forgiveness, at any relationship can be very hard duty.

The key to maintain the happy relationship is to ask for and grand forgiveness, Jesus said, “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Mat.6:14, 15). His instruction is clear: God insists that we are to be forgivers.

To forgive means to give up resentment against or relinquish the desire to punish. By an act of your will, you let the other person off the hook. As a Christian, you do not do this under duress, scratching and creaming in protest Rather, you do it with a gentle spirit and love, as Paul urged, “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you” (Eph.4:32)

The real test of your ability to forgive comes on the battlefield when you and your spouse are tricked off and angry with each other. That is when you need the power of the Holy Spirit and must ask, God, please help me here. I need to move to forgiveness, because you have commanded me to do so. Please empower me and enable me to give up the right of punishing my spouse and to forgive.”

The words of encouragement

For God loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
( John 3:16)

Run Your Own Race

The discipline of our desires forms backbone of our character. Know what tempts you and avoid it. If you want to exhibit self-control, walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. He will produce that fruit in your life.

A runner intending to win must know where is going. The finish line for the Christians is the person of Jesus Christ. Keep your eyes on Him. Know Him. Grow in your love for Him. Serve Him. Yield totally to Him. Make Him your train.

The Christian life will cost you your life. You and I must die to ourselves, deny our rights. Anything, any prize, any relationship, anything of value costs. You may find that working through a problem in a relationship is harder than working out. Doing the right thing isn’t always the easiest option, but it’s always the best option.

Any long-distance runner will tell you that finishing a race successfully often means pain. But they will also tell you that the pain is worth it! The same is true for us. How about you? Are you running for the prize? By God’s grace yes you can!

Never out of Reach

If you have received Christ as your Savior, God has given you His helper, the Holy Spirit, who can empower you to full-fill God’s commandments. And when you are disobedient and blow it (and you will), remember that the message of the gospel is that by God’ grace we can repent and we are forgiven. Turn away from your sin and simply admit (confess) your sins to God and thank Him for His forgiveness. Yield your will to Him and thank Him, by faith that He will fill (empower) you again with the Holy Spirit.

A Comparable Helper

And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And ADAM SAID: “This is now bone of my bones and flesh on my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. (Gen 2:21-24)

“It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him; (Ge 2:18)This remarkable verse tells us that God has designed wives to be very much like their husbands comparable but also different in ways that complement or help their husbands become all that God intends them to be.

I will sing

Paul's Valedictory

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. (2 Timothy 4:7)

The Man Will Not Rest

AS STRANGER in a strange land, Ruth could not have known much about life in Israel. So at the beginning of her short courtship with Boaz, she had little idea of what to expect. She must have felt unsure, uneasy, and more than a little frightened. Yet from the very beginning, Boaz demonstrated himself to be a godly man as a strong character who would certainly keep his word, whatever it was. When marriage to him became a district possibility, it must have reassured her to hear Naomi say, “The man will not rest until he has concluded the matter this day” (Ruth 3:18).

Profiting from Trials

Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who loved Him. (James 1:12)

Meet a Worth queen Easter

Why did the King loved Easter more than all the other women and obtained favor in his sight more than all the virgins? I believe its because she became humbly, standing and waiting for the King to notice her. She didn't barge into the throne room, and so the King set the royal crown upon her head and she became a worthy queen. To God be the glory! You maght be the one today that God is speaking too. Open your eyes and and see. For God is at work at all time. God bless you!

A Reward for Righteousness

WHY WOULD AN ALL-POWERFUL, loving God allow evil to exist? That’s one of the oldest questions facing humankind, and the question lying at the heart of the book of job. Satan comes before God to suggest that Job worships God only because of His kindness to him. Satan implies that if God were to remove His blessings from Job’s life, the man would renounce his faith and denounce God. So God allows Satan to put Job to the test. In a single day, Job’s livestock, his servants and his sons and daughters all die. In addition, sores break out all over Job’s body. Job’s wife tells her husband to “curse God and die” (2:9), but Job responds with the profound question, “Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” (2:10). Three friends eventually come by to offer Job a variety of explanations for his personal tragedy; these conversations make up the majority of the book. Finally, God speaks directly to Job (37:1), showing him that the best way to face tragic events is with faith.

A kind and loving God remains in control, working out His plan for our good and His glory. When we face tragedies, we must remember that a sovereign God remains in control. We may never understand His purposes in this life, but we can trust Him. As Job said, “For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; and after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God” (19:25,26)

Believe That God Can

Unbelief begins with dangerous assumptions and concludes that the problem is too big for God, that God doesn’t want to act on our belief, and that we might as well eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die (1Cor. 15.32).

Don’t give in to it! Learn to take a small steps of faith by choosing to believe Gods Word and acting on that belief, whether you feel like it or not. Keep in mind the words of Martin Luther King, “Feelings come and feelings go, and feelings are deceiving; my warrant is the word of God, naught else is worth believing.”

Don’t fail to Forgive

The scriptures teach us to forgive. Forgiveness is not optional in the Christian life! Jesus said, “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses” (Mark: 11:25). We are commended to forgive because we have been forgiven.

Forgiveness lies at the heart Christianity. Your marriage must be the union of two people who are totally unwilling for anything to come between them. Is there anything you need to ask your spouse to forgive you for today? Or are you holding onto an offense that needs to be released by granting forgiveness to your mate?

Regardless of the size or shape of what’s been done, don’t allow another day to pass without making things right.

The Fruit Of The Spirit

“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish” (5:16, 17)

According to these verses, I believe with my whole heart that if we attack the wickedness of the flesh by surrendering to and walking in the Spirit, our life will display the Spirit’s delightful fruit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (5:22,23).

Control Your Thoughts!

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
James: 1;2-6

The Blind Man Saw

John 9:1-41.
Jesus gave sight to a man who had been born blind, and then the man boldly testified about the one who had healed him, even in the face of pressure for the Pharisees. In a way, the religious expects were blinder than the blind man was. Physically they might have had perfect vision, but spiritually they were in the dark. Pride will do that to you!

Fasting and Prayer for Protection

Even though you know God invites you to bring all your concerns to Him in prayer (see Phil.4:7) Do you sometimes hold back, fearing that they just might not be spiritual enough? May be you have a secret desire, or maybe it’s something as traveling mercies for you or your family. Read Ezra 8:2. Listen to the scribe as he recalls his preparations for a family move to Jerusalem, “Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions.”

God is encouraging us to bring all our concerns to Him, no matter how small or large. He cares for us and our family more than we do! Seek Him for the right way. Fast and pray and watch God what He can do in your life. As God cares for us and our family, let us do our part of seeking His face and His presence. I pray that you will make the right choice to see Him with the whole heart!

Now I decree and declare financial blessings over your life…I decree and declare supernatural favor in the name of Jesus. Be still says the Lord and know that am GOD.

Thought For Today!

THE SUBJECT IS ABOUT TO CHANGE, ARE YOU READY FOR IT? WHAT IS YOUR FAITH TODAY? ARE YOU READY FOR GOD TO MOVE IN YOUR LIFE? WILL YOU DO WHAT HE TELLS YOU TO DO? WILL YOU GO WHERE HE TELLS TO GO? WILL YOU LET IT GO WHAT HE TELLS YOU TO LET GO? OK, NOW THIS IS THE TIME TO USE YOUR FAITH AND TO SHOW GOD THAT YOU ARE READY….I CALLS IT CRAZY AND RISK FAITH… IT ALSO REMINDS ME OF ESTHER’S WORDS…”I WILL GO TO THE KING, WHICH IS AGAINST THE LAW; AND IF I PERISH, I PERISH!”

Cast Down but Unconquered

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on very side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed, always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So then death is working in us, life is in you. 2Corinthians 4:7-12

The Trouble with Temptation

Many people think it’s a sin just to be tempted, but the fact is, being tempted is normal for a Christian, especially a growing one. Even Christ was tempted in that classic confrontation with the devil at the beginning of His ministry. Temptation is not the problem; giving in to temptation is the problem.
So how can you resist the roaring lion? First, know your weakness. If temptation occurs when you are alone, then build in some safeguards. Second, draw upon God’s power to stand firm. The saints of Revelation overcame the devil’s temptations “by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony” (Rev 12:11) let me encourage and exhort you today to live a holy life and to resist the temptations that the devil sets before you! Live your life so that God is honored by all that you say and do. May your life, marriage, and family be vessels of honor for the glory of God.

Faithful Abraham

By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tenets with Isaac and Jacob the heirs with him of the same promise, for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. (Hebrew: 8-10)

One way to Know God Better

NEAR THE VERY END OF THE BIBLE, we hear God saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last” (Rev.22:13). This divine self-description reminds us that one of the best ways we can get to know God better, how to fear Him and love Him and serve Him more deeply, is to learn and study His different names and titles as they appear in various parts of the Bible. It’s rich study, on where we can learn of His attributes and character just by reading how He refers to Himself.

Be Strong in Grace

And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will. (2Timonth 2:24-26)

God's word: Our Weapon of Choice

ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT messages we can take from the biblical account of temptation of Jesus, is important of knowing God’s word and put it to use when temptation comes knocking at your doors.

Jesus had spent His entire life learning and internalizing the word of God, and when the Spirit led Him into the wilderness, He was able to answer each one of them with; “It is written…”He had studied and meditated for so long on truths of God’s word.

Even in the best of our lives, we can be tempted physically, mentally and emotionally. The best way to fight these temptations is to memories scriptures and has it ready when temptations present themselves.

Memorize verses such as, “Flee also youthful lists; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart” That way, when you are tempted by lust, the Holy Spirit will bring to your mind those verses that you have committed to memory, and H e will remind you of the truth so that you can flee.

That's My King Dr. S.M. Lockridge - [OFFICIAL]

When I am Attack by the Enemy

Lord, I praise You as my Deliverer and you that You will deliver me from my enemies. I know that we not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against power, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. You will lift me above those who rise against me and deliver me from the violent forces that oppose me. Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way straight before my face. I give thanks to you, Lord, and sing praises to You always lead us in triumph in Christ.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness if from Me, says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17

Because He Has Given Me His Holy Spirit

Lord, I worship You and praise You and thank You for your Holy Spirit in my life. Thank You, Jesus, for sending me the Comforter and Helper to teach and guide me every day. I praise You for the wisdom, revelation, and knowledge that You impart to me. I love You and the joy You bring into my life. Thank You that I have been sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. I know that I cannot understand the things of God in my flesh, but I can discern them in my spirit because of You dwelling in me. Thank You, Lord, for the gift of Your Holy Spirit in me.

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:5

Believing It’s Not Over Till It’s Over

My times are in Your hands. I pray that You would give an ever renewing sense of Your purpose for my life. Use me for Your glory as long as I am on this earth. Help me to never be resistant to change, but instead to always be open to new things You want to do in my life. I don’t want to hang on to the old life when You are waiting to make a new beginning. Help me to always be in Your word, in close communication with You, and seeking only the counsel of godly people so that I will never miss Your light shining on the path You have for me.

Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation, on You I wait all the day. Psalm 25:4-5

Obedience

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” Mathew 7:24-25.

Thought for today!

Holiness that’s where I long to be …Lord, your Word says that if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us (1John 1:8). I don’t want to deceive myself by not asking you where I am missing the mark you have set for my life. Show me if I’m doing things I should not. Help me to hear your specific instructions to me. Speak to me clearly through Your Word so I will know what’s right and what’s wrong. I don’t want to grieve the Holy Spirit in anything I do. Help me to be ever learning about your ways so I can live in the fullness of your presence and move into all you have for me.

Peace Of Your Soul.

THE CHRISTIAN FAITH is not a bunch of rules and regulations, but rather a dynamic relationship with the living God made possible through the work of Jesus Christ. You are to “love the Lord your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul” (Job; 11:13). When we fully grasp that fact, we are well on our way to living victoriously in every area of our lives. I have learned that coming to Jesus with open hands is just the first step in a long process of learning from Him and receiving from Him.

Giving Thanks in Times of Trouble

Giving thanks in everything means that you have to ask yourself, “Is God really involved in the details of my life?” Could God possibly want to teach you something through a flat tire? King David expressed the same principle when he wrote, “Save us, O God of our salvation; gather us together, and deliver us from the Gentiles, to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise.” Those little words express our belief that God knows what He is doing and that He can be trusted.

The Model Prayer

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Matthew 6:9-13

Ask and You shall Receive!

In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth; my father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. John 16:23-24

“Anything!” Praise God! “Anything!” That is what our God has promised. He said. I will do IT.” What is this “IT”? This “IT” refers to “anything” we ask our heavenly Father in prayer.

The Word From God!

For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer. For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wrath with thee nor rebuke thee . For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. Isaiah 54:7-10

YOU CAN KNOW THE WILL OF GOD!

“Beloved, I will above all things that you prosper and be in health, as your soul prospers." 3John 2:

The kingdom of God does not rest on destiny. You’re not going to “just end up” wherever you’re “supposed to be.” The kingdom rests on decisions.

Your life, at this moment, is the totality of the decisions that you have made from this point. Jesus is not going to make a decision for you. “It’s not my will that any perish,” He said, “but that all come to the knowledge of the truth.” He provided the choice. “I set before you life, death, blessing, cursing.” He said, “You choose.”

How will you choose today? What will your decision be? Who will you decide to trust? How far will you go with God?

I THANK GOD FOR YOU!

HOW IS EVERYONE DOING OUT THERE??? WOW! THE PRAYER LINE WAS SOOO POWERFUL LAST FRIDAY! A LOT OF PEOPLE CALLED IN FOR PRAYER AND I PREACHED THE WORD! THANK YOU JESUS! AND THANK YOU ALL WHO CALLED IN…..KEEP PUSHING…..

God's Sheep from Eternity.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd, and we are His sheep. Isn't it great to realize that God knows us, and always has? If we have trusted in Christ to save us, it means we are among those whom God has chosen from eternity to be His very own, and we always will be. Nothing can ever separate us from God (John. 10:28). Do you feel the power of that assurance?

Faith Works!

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews. 11:1) The subject of our faith is God and His word. You must place your trust in what God has said. But if you don't know what He has said in His word, how can you believe? That's why Paul tells the Romans, "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God" (Rom.10: 17). What are you trusting God for? Ask Him to increase your faith and enable you to grow closer to Him. God's word is truer than anything you feel. God's word is truer than anything you experience. God's word is truer than any curcumstances you're facing. God's word is truer than anything in the world.

God is with you!

Psalm 23:4 Yea, though walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no eveil; for you are with me; your lod and your stuff, the comfort me.
God does not want you to be afraid or worry about anything. He did not create you for that. He wants you to feel confident and secure that He is with you in every problems. The problem may look like a mess. There may be some uncomfortable moments, and you may be asking God why would let such problem and suffering take a place in your life. The first step is to get your attitudes in check. There are seasons and times in the life of every believer when God will allow you to go through some hard places in order to get you to the next level. God knows how much you can bear and He knows the process to getting you out. Stop complaining. All things works together for the good. Gos is Holy, worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

God's Promises to Abram!

I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."

Happy to Please the father!

Even though Jesus was Himself God, He insisted that He was only doing His Father's will (John 8:28, 29). Jesus was always a dependable and attentive Son, wishing only to please His Father. There is no indignity or shame in giving Christlike obedience to parents and others who have been placed in authority over us.

Proverbs (1:7) The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

To fear the Lord means you practice the presence of God in the midst of everyday choice. Those who fear the Lord apply the scriptures to effectively meet whatever challenges come their way. They are not perfect but as they depend on God for strenght they will find that His power can equip them to meet every challenge the face.

Thanks Be to God!

Do you remember to thank God for what He has given us? The blessings He gives are so plentiful it’s easy to take them for granted. Of ten lepers cleansed by Jesus (Luke 17:14) only one went back to praise and adore the one who had helped him. Do you express your gratitude in worship, in prayer, and in conversation? Our Lord deserves our praise!

Clean On The Inside

If we’re going to be salt and light in the world like Jesus said (Matthew 5: 13-16) we need to make sure our hearts are right. Hatred in the heart is no better than murder. Lust in the heart is no better than adultery. A good life starts with love and purity in the heart. But that’s not easy, is it? We really do need God’s help to make us clean on the inside.

YOU RAISE ME UP

Life Isn’t Fair

The son of God, the only perfect man who ever lived, was killed by a bunch of corrupt sinners. Life isn’t fair. Maybe you think you’ve been treated unfairly, that you deserve better from the people around you. But you’re not walking anywhere that Jesus hasn’t already been. And in all that He endured, he never sinned; He just forgave! Matthew: 27:1-66

Except the Unexpected

Jesus taught things that the world did not expect. People who seem not to be blessed are truly blessed, and vice versa; we are to love our enemies, not hate them; we should accept attacks, not resist them. The world’s way of looking at things is often not anything like God’s way. Whose way is your way? Luke 6: 1-49

STRANGE BUT TRUE

John the Baptist was God’s messenger to prepare the way for Jesus. John was an eccentric, and he was not afraid to speak his mind. Although many people loved him, there were others who despised him. But John’s eyes were on Jesus. His mission as Christ’s forerunner was all that mattered to him. What matters to you?

Awesome God - Hillsong + Michael W. Smith

Humility!

“He (God) sets on high those who are lowly, those who mourn are lifted to safety” Job (5:11).

In other words, God lifts up those who are humble and comforts those who are suffering. That was good for job to know, and it’s good for us to know today.

In order to enjoy success in any relationship with our God, with our family, with our friends, with our spouse we need humility, which comes as we see what the Bible teaches about the holiness and righteousness of God and about our need to be forgiven and redeemed.

The Sweet Fruit of Repentance:

Repentance involves a turn from sin and a pursuit of righteousness. We do not argue with God; we admin our wickedness, turn away from it, and endeavor to live wholly for Him. I believe repentance is never easy, but the resulting fruit is sweet. Will you forgive one another today? What is that, that is holding you back? Decide today to forgive and repent and come to freedom. Choice is yours.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY!

The FIRST thing I want to get into your spirit is this... “ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO THEM THAT BELIEVE.” You can build your life and your dreams on that… It’s God's Word and He just can’t lie. Get that in your spirit….believe it; it’s the one truth you depend on in this world.

Psalm 15; 1-2

(Psalm 15; 1) “LORD, who may abide in your tabernacle? Who may dwell in your holy hill? In other words, “Who gets the privilege of being near you, Lord?” The answer is, “He who walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart” (15:2)
Honesty is vitally important to God. Pray for wisdom and opportunities to uncover deceit and deal with it.

Tuesday Thought!

We should consider it a privilege to serve such loving God in every area or our lives….we should surrender our lives total and completely to our lord Jesus Christ. I don’t know about you! But for me, I have given my life totally to Jesus Christ and you can do the same too. As human beings we mistakenly think that surrendering our lives to the God of the universe is the loss of our lives, In reality, total surrender to God brings not total defeat, but total Victory!

ISAIAH 54:7-10

For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer. For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wrath with thee nor rebuke thee. For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.

Roman 10:17

Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. what are you confessing today? Are you confessing the word of God or the word of the devil? The Bible says, you can not serve two masters. Either you will hate one and love the other. What report are you believing on? Choose God's report, it will keep you from making bad decisions. Trust God in everything. He will lead you. Confess His word every day and whatever you confess with your month that is the exactly what you are going to see. Might not happen at that moment, but sooner or later you will see the result of the word you have been confessing. Father God help us today to speak the faith word in Jesus name.

Be Strong In The Lord Always!

Be strong and trust God for He is the problem solver. If you trust and obey Him, and strive continuing to seek His face. He will come right on time and remove all that you battle with. He loves us so much! Just trust him. And make up in your mind that you will not serve two masters. God said, if you love Him, then you will love what He loves and you will hate what He hate. Be blessed as you read!

Resolving problem requires Forgiveness.

The process of forgiveness, Jesus said, " For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavely Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your father forgive your trespasses" (Matt.6:14,15)

The instruction is clear: God insists that we are to be forgivers. "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. (Eph.4:32)

Hope you find a place in your heart to forgive those who mistreated you!

ToDay Thought!

One of the best things I've learned is that God does not bring people into my life so I can make them just like me. God wants us to be different. He's given us different personalities, different stremgths, different hobbies and different looks. He's made us all different so we can sharpen one another and cause each other to rise up higher in life. I believe our assignment is not to fix people. Our assignment is to love people so we can move forward in the good plan God has prepared....

I WILL ALWAYS NEED JESUS IN MY LIFE

My pride wants to say, “I don’t need God; I’m perfectly happy without Him. “But real happiness comes only when I’m willing to HUMBLE myself and with my life do what He wills. The process may be painful, but it also brings deep joy in the midst of challenging days. In other words, God lifts up those who are humble and comforts those who are suffering. That was good for Job to know, and it’s also good for us to know today.
