“He (God) sets on high those who are lowly, those who mourn are lifted to safety” Job (5:11).
In other words, God lifts up those who are humble and comforts those who are suffering. That was good for job to know, and it’s good for us to know today.
In order to enjoy success in any relationship with our God, with our family, with our friends, with our spouse we need humility, which comes as we see what the Bible teaches about the holiness and righteousness of God and about our need to be forgiven and redeemed.
