If we’re going to be salt and light in the world like Jesus said (Matthew 5: 13-16) we need to make sure our hearts are right. Hatred in the heart is no better than murder. Lust in the heart is no better than adultery. A good life starts with love and purity in the heart. But that’s not easy, is it? We really do need God’s help to make us clean on the inside.
