John the Baptist was God’s messenger to prepare the way for Jesus. John was an eccentric, and he was not afraid to speak his mind. Although many people loved him, there were others who despised him. But John’s eyes were on Jesus. His mission as Christ’s forerunner was all that mattered to him. What matters to you?
