Jesus taught things that the world did not expect. People who seem not to be blessed are truly blessed, and vice versa; we are to love our enemies, not hate them; we should accept attacks, not resist them. John the Baptist was God’s messenger to prepare the way for Jesus. John was an eccentric, and he was not afraid to speak his mind. Although many people loved him, there were others who despised him. But John’s eyes were on Jesus. His mission as Christ’s forerunner was all that mattered to him. What matters to you?

Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours…No man shall be able to stand against you...It is a promise from God! Believe and have faith in God! More importantly trusting in God!

Humility!

“He (God) sets on high those who are lowly, those who mourn are lifted to safety” Job (5:11).

In other words, God lifts up those who are humble and comforts those who are suffering. That was good for job to know, and it’s good for us to know today.

In order to enjoy success in any relationship with our God, with our family, with our friends, with our spouse we need humility, which comes as we see what the Bible teaches about the holiness and righteousness of God and about our need to be forgiven and redeemed.

The Sweet Fruit of Repentance:

Repentance involves a turn from sin and a pursuit of righteousness. We do not argue with God; we admin our wickedness, turn away from it, and endeavor to live wholly for Him. I believe repentance is never easy, but the resulting fruit is sweet. Will you forgive one another today? What is that, that is holding you back? Decide today to forgive and repent and come to freedom. Choice is yours.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY!

The FIRST thing I want to get into your spirit is this... “ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO THEM THAT BELIEVE.” You can build your life and your dreams on that… It’s God's Word and He just can’t lie. Get that in your spirit….believe it; it’s the one truth you depend on in this world.

Psalm 15; 1-2

(Psalm 15; 1) “LORD, who may abide in your tabernacle? Who may dwell in your holy hill? In other words, “Who gets the privilege of being near you, Lord?” The answer is, “He who walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart” (15:2)
Honesty is vitally important to God. Pray for wisdom and opportunities to uncover deceit and deal with it.

Tuesday Thought!

We should consider it a privilege to serve such loving God in every area or our lives….we should surrender our lives total and completely to our lord Jesus Christ. I don’t know about you! But for me, I have given my life totally to Jesus Christ and you can do the same too. As human beings we mistakenly think that surrendering our lives to the God of the universe is the loss of our lives, In reality, total surrender to God brings not total defeat, but total Victory!

ISAIAH 54:7-10

For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer. For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wrath with thee nor rebuke thee. For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.
